The Secret and Becoming Irresistible

You either do or you don’t. Believe, that is, in the power of positive thinking. Can the power of positive thinking really help your business become irresistible?

I think so. And I’ll tell you why. Before the film The Secret splashed it’s appealing visual imagery on my iPod; before I downloaded a read a copy of The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles; before I read Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, Claude Bristol’s The Power of Believing, or James Allen’s As A Man Thinketh, the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson where he stated, The ancestor of of every action is a thought; and way before I heard Qui-Gon Ji instruct young Anakin Skywalker, “Your thoughts create your reality,” the Universe was already rigged to give me what I think about.

I’ve witnessed people who focus on their illness attract more or it. I’ve witnessed those who obssess about their fears attract more fear. In my former marriage, I experienced the trauma of violence against my own person chiefly because I anticipated it. (No, I didn’t want it to happen, but I focused on it just the same.)

I’m convinced that our consciousness plays a co-creative role in our everyday lives. I believe that our intentions around income, clients, marketing, and business in general shape the success of our businesses. Henry Ford put it this way…

“Whether you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right.”
